Tiffany Trump, President Donald Trump’s youngest daughter, along with her boyfriend, recently returned from a summer vacation in Europe costing U.S. taxpayers more than $22,000.

As the daughter of the president, Tiffany Trump was required to travel with a Secret Service detail funded by taxpayers.

According to CBS News, which obtained federal purchase orders, accommodations for the agents cost $22,439, which did not include payment for the agents’ time.

One of the purchase orders read, “URGENT! Rooms Regent USSS (Tiffany Trump visit) June 14-24,” indicating that officials might have been given short notice of Ms. Trump’s travel plans.

The Secret Service often vets sites expected to be visited by the president and his family prior to their excursions.

The agency has an office in Frankfurt, Germany, but does not have an office in Berlin. Agency officials told CBS that they had to establish a “temporary office” in a hotel room—known as a “control room”—for Tiffany Trump’s visit.

Ms. Trump shared a video on Instagram featuring herself at the Brandenburg Gate.

On July 13, she posted a photo of herself and her boyfriend in Budapest.
